Multiplication and division to divide fractions by fractions; Compute fluently with multi-digit numbers and find common factors and multiples; Positive and negative numbers; rational numbers; rational numbers on number line; Ordering and Absolute value of rational numbers; Multiplication, Division, addition and subtraction of Rational numbers; Conversion of rational number to decimal using long division method; Irrational numbers; Cartesian plane and Coordinate system.
Expressions and Equations
Algebraic expressions; Solving one-variable equations and inequalities; Dependent and Independent variables; Solving real-life and mathematical problems using numerical and algebraic expressions and equations.
Radicals and integer exponents; Proportional relationships, lines (y = mx + b) , and linear equations, Slope of the graph; Solving linear equations in one variable and two variables.
Geometry

Statistics and Probability
Understanding of statistical variability; Display of numerical data in plots on a number line, including dot plots, histograms, and box plots; Quantitative measures of center (median and/or mean) and variability (interquartile range and/or mean absolute deviation); Drawing inferences about a population; Construct and interpret scatter plots for bivariate measurement data; Using equation of a linear model to solve problems in the context of bivariate measurement data, interpreting the slope and intercept. Probability of simple events as well as compound events.
